When we heard that the Same Maguire was coming to visit our school, we couldn't believe it! We were so excited!!
Unfortunately the Dublin players didn't make it but the Sam Maguire cup did, which was the most important thing!
We got to wear our Dublin jersys or blue clothes for the day to celebrate! The whole school went to the hall and we had an assembly where we got to see the Sam Maguire, the Leinster League award and another award the Dubs won this year!
It was a great day for everyone! We had a great time and we are so proud of the Dublin Gaelic Football team!
As you can see from the photos, Ms. McCaul was very excited to get in a photo with the Sam Maguire. Bernadette was very happy too!
