We have been learning about the changing story of milk. We were learning about how cows were milked in the past and how they are milked now. We also went onto a website called www.moocrew.ie. It told us how important milk is. It was great fun doing this activity.
In art, we made outfits for some famous people. A few people chose the same ones as others. I chose DJ Fresh. I really liked making the outfit. Our teacher got us to bring in photos of the famous people that we picked. This week, during our computer time, we did research on the famous people that we chose. She gave us a sheet to tell us what to look up on the web. I really enjoyed that lesson. Thank you teacher.
Every Friday, we go to ALSAA swimming pool to have swimming lessons. There are four groups. the first one is not deep at all. The second one is a little deep. The third one is deeper again but the fourth one is the deepest of all of them! For the four groups, there are four teachers. My teacher is a man called Tom. He is really good at being a swimming teacher and sometimes he's a bit funny. The other three teachers are the same. It's really fun!
Swimming is so much fun. My coach is called Peter. He is cool. My favourite strokes are breast stroke and front crawl. The last six weeks have been awesome but the coolest thing is that I also do swimming at six o'clock. I don't want to stop swimming classes! The bus is fun beacuse I can look at everything. I like swimming a lot!
Every Friday we go swimming with Mr. Melia's class. Our teacher's name is Ms. O'Driscoll. We were learning to swim on our backs. Since last week, we have been swimming with our heads under water. I feel that we have learned a lot and I would recommend it to all other classes.
Every Friday we go swimming at 9 o'clock. We get there by bus. Whene we get there we go into the changing room to get changed. When we are ready, we go to the pool. We get in when the teachers say we are ready. There are four levels in it. I am in level three. We do diving and they show us how to swim properly. There are lots of different ways to swim. Then we go back into the changing room to get changed again. Then we get back on the bus. I sit beside my best friend. Her name is Zoe. I like swimming.
On Thursday the 10th of April, my class went on a museum trip in Dublin city. We saw lots of houses and buildings on the way. When we got off the bus, we passed a lot of interesting buildings and had a nice long walk. We eventually got to the museum. There were fish, jungle animals, monkeys and birds everywhere. We also had an activity sheet to fill in. Then we had to pack up and go home.
We went to the Natural History Museum on Thursday 10th of April 2014. It was really cool and I really enjoyed the walking. I saw lots of animals. We had our lunch in a park, very close to the museum. I liked the statues the most. There were two floors, upstairs and downstairs. Outside, there were statues of animals made from grass. If you look at the museum from the outside it looks small, but inside it's huge!
On Thursday the 15th of May our class, along with Ms. McManus, went on a river walk to The Jacko. We saw pond skaters. We also saw buttercups, wild herbs, wild garlic and nettles. We sa wa pigeon, fish and a man walking a dog. We crossed over the bridge. We saw a rare mushroom. I almost got stung by a wasp.

Last week, my class had an active week. We stayed active all week with extra PE. For our PE lessons, we had stations of different types of sports. There was basketball at one station; skipping at another station; soccer and lots more. Unfortunately, there were two days when we didn't have PE but hopefully everyone had fun. We had to make do with three days of PE!!!
