Fáilte and Welcome to Scoil Chronáin, St. Cronan's school website. Located in Brackenstown, Swords, Co. Dublin, our school is a co-educational senior school with over 600 pupils. 

Our school website helps us share useful  information and resources for parents and children alike and provides opportunities to celebrate the learning and achievements of the school on an ongoing basis.

Bí Cinealta

We celebrated Friendship Week throughout the school this week. Every class did different activities  and learned about what makes a good friend and how to deal with bullying if we see it happening or if it happens to us.
We launched our new Bí Cinealta student policy which is now displayed in every classroom and throughout the school. A big thank you to Mr Gallagher's 6th class for their help with the launch.

Safer Internet Day​

​Safer Internet Day will take place globally on February 7th.  The theme of this event is 'Together for a Better Internet'.  The importance of responsible, respectful, critical and creative use of digital technology will be promoted around the world. The pupils will be engaging in specific lessons on Internet Safety at school next week.  We will be running a poster competition to promote the event.  Please chat to your child about this important topic.

School Calendar 2025-2026.

Our sixth class pupils will continue Cycle Safety training during the month of November.

Our sixth class pupils are currently taking part in Marathon Kids .

Our fifth class pupils will take part in swimming lessons in November.

Our fourth class pupils will take part in soccer lessons during November.

School will reopen at 9am on Monday 3rd November.

Our school will participate in Science Week from the 10th to the 14th of  November.
