Green Schools Programme

Scoil Chrónáin has been involved in the Green-Schools programme since 2006. Pupils throughout the school have undertaken a number of projects on environmental issues over the years.These include waste and litter management, energy, water, transport and biodiversity. Scoil Chronáin has succeeded in achieving three Green Flags to date:
2006~2008: Flag 1: Litter and Waste Flag 2008~2010: Flag 2: Energy Flag 2011~2014: Flag 3: Water Flag While we try to maintain a broad green focus on an ongoing basis, we have a particular emphasis on waste reduction in the current school year.
